In addition to the above General Website Terms and Conditions, the following terms and conditions of sale apply to all purchases by you through our website. By completing a purchase order, you are stating that you agree to be bound by all of these terms and conditions.

Acceptance of Orders: Dispatch of orders is subject to stock availability, and you will be advised if a product is unavailable. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable to any person if we decline to fulfil, or are unable to fulfil, an order.

Prices: We will charge you the retail price shown on the website at the time you submit your order, together with any additional handling and delivery fees.

Payment: You may pay online by credit card (NZ$) and by COOL (Coolabee) Gift Card

Delivery: We currently deliver only to New Zealand addresses. You must make sure that the delivery address and receiver’s name for your order are accurate and complete (including any business name if you ask us to deliver to a work address) because we may be unable to change these details once the order has been placed. We cannot take responsibility for any orders that go missing due to incorrect delivery information provided by you, or because you have not chosen a safe delivery address. Our delivery information is set out on our Delivery Information page. Delivery will be deemed to have been made when the goods arrive at the delivery point agreed with you, or if you are to arrange delivery when the goods are available for collection by you.

You must notify us within 5 days of the dispatch date (as stated in the email we send confirming dispatch) if you have not received an item. It is your responsibility to take care of the goods when they have been delivered in accordance with the instructions you have given us.


Returns: Any return of goods is subject to our Returns Policy.


Our Liability to you :

If you buy goods or services from us for personal use, the guarantees set out in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 will apply to those goods or services.

COOL (Coolabee) Gift Card Terms and Conditions

​

  • Gift cards should be treated like cash. It cannot be replaced or cancelled if it is lost or stolen.

  • A gift card does not have any value until it is activated at the time of purchase.

  • Coolabee New Zealand is the issuer of Gift Cards.

  • The COOL Gift Card may be redeemed at any Coolabee store or on our website for products (excluding Lotto, gift cards, gift vouchers, or stamps).

  • Gift Cards cannot be returned or redeemed for cash.

  • Unused balances on a Gift Card cannot be reloaded, and unused balances will not be refunded after the expiration date.

  • There is a two-year expiration date on any unused value on the Gift Card.

  • Gift Cards may be used to pay for goods in full or in part at the time of purchase. Gift Cards will be deducted from any purchases made.

  • You can purchase COOL Gift Cards online or in-store.

  • Gift Cards cannot be replaced if they are lost, altered, damaged, stolen, or used without permission.

  • There will be no refunds or replacements for Gift Cards.

  • The value of the Gift Card cannot be redeemed for cash or credited to an account.

We will match a competing retailer’s advertised price for an identical make and model item.

Simply provide proof of a competing retailer’s advertised price for the identical item at the time of purchase or within 7 days. Once we validate the price is genuine, the item is new in the box, and ready for immediate collection/delivery (in stock), we will gladly match or refund the difference to you.

To enable us to do this as quickly as possible, please ensure that the competing retailer you are comparing to is a New Zealand retailer of the items that we are selling. New Zealand retailer websites will be considered where the product is the same.

2. Already Purchased? If you've already purchased the item from us Online please ensure that:

You have your order details at hand and, You bought the item within the last 7 days If you've purchased the item in one of our stores, please contact your local Coolabee to make your price match request.

3. Exclusions
 
Coolabee Outlet and Clearance Stores are excluded from our Price Promise.
 
Items for which the printed advertisement containing the lower price was published more than 7 days after the purchase.
 
Products purchased by a person not residing in New Zealand.
 
Purchases made by store employees or using employee discounts.

Shipping and/or transportation costs or price differences due to shipping, handling costs and sales tax.

All multimedia resources, including but not limited to e-books, audio, video, and other related materials (hereinafter referred to as "Resources"), provided by Coolabee (the "Company") are protected by copyright laws in New Zealand, Australia, and international jurisdictions. The copyright for these Resources is owned by the original publisher or the Company, as applicable.

 

2. Grant of License

Upon the purchase of books from Coolabee, customers may granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use the related multimedia resources for personal, non-commercial use only in accordance with applicable copyright laws.



3. Prohibited Activities:
You are expressly prohibited from:
a. Recording, reproducing, or distributing any of the Resources.
b. Transferring or selling access to the Resources.
c. Altering or modifying any part of the Resources.

4. Personal Use:
Access to the Resources is granted for personal use only. You may not use the Resources for any commercial purpose without prior written consent from Coolabee.

5. Compliance with Laws:

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and Australia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Zealand.

By accessing the multimedia Resources, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these copyright terms and conditions. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BOOKS BULK ORDERS AND WHOLESALE
1. Order Minimums:
   a. A minimum order requirement of 25 copies per book title is applicable for bulk orders and wholesale purchases.
   b. The total order value must be equal to or exceed NZD$100.

2. Pricing:
   a. Wholesale prices are applicable for bulk orders, and prices are subject to change without prior notice.
   b. All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and exclude any applicable taxes or shipping fees.

3. Ordering Process:
   a. Enquiries can be submitted through our official website by filling out the application form or by contacting our designated wholesale department.
   b. All orders are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to limit quantities.

4. Payment Terms:
   a. Payment must be made in full before the order is processed and shipped.
   b. Accepted payment methods include credit cards, bank transfers, or other pre-approved payment arrangements.

5. Shipping:
   a. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and will be added to the total order value.
   b. Delivery times are estimated and may vary based on location and order volume.

6. Returns and Exchanges:
   a. Returns or exchanges are accepted within 30 days of the delivery date.
   b. Products must be in new and resalable condition, and the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.

7. Quality Control:
   a. All books are thoroughly inspected for quality before shipment.
   b. Any damages or defects must be reported within 5 business days of receiving the order.

8. Territory Restrictions:
   a. Wholesale orders are accepted from customers in New Zealand and Australia only.
   b. For orders outside of these territories, please contact our international sales department.

9. Compliance with Laws:
   a. Buyers are responsible for ensuring that the purchase and distribution of our books comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their region.
   b. Any customs duties or taxes incurred during international shipping are the responsibility of the buyer.

10. Termination of Wholesale Agreement:
